Thankful

I'm thankful for quite a few things, but the one thing I am MOST thankful for today is my dad, Felix.

There was a wasp in my room a few minutes ago, and like the boss that he is, he smashed it to death.
I was sooooo happy.  He made me forget about the fact that our turkey is gonna be the most delicious turkey ever, because I was so happy to be spared the pain that being stung by a wasp would bring.

I should probably give mad props to our turkey, Houdini.  He is going to make me very happy today.
We named him Houdini because he apparently escaped the Thanksgiving massacre last year, only to be caught this year.  We know this because Houdini is probably the fattest turkey ever.  A true American turkey. (LOL)

I actually made myself kind of sad.

I made a story,
"He survived last year, but THIS is his year to DIIIE!"  That made me start cackling like an idiot for only a few seconds; then it morphed into a sad "aww".

I should also give some mad props to my friend, Kahaley.  She has agreed to assist me in a very important mission.  When the mission is successful, I will reveal it's secrets.

Some more mad props to my Aunt Carla who sent me a Happy Thanksgiving text this morning.  That really brightened my day.

And more props to my mommy, because I love her so.

AND THE MOST MAD PROPS OF ALL TO MY BESTEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD! MELISSA! :D

Yoga

I decided a few days ago that yoga sounded like a pretty neat idea.
Two days ago my mom came home with a yoga mat that she won somehow and decided to give it to me.
I ended up trying to use it last night.  I started watching a yoga video on youtube.  That's where I ran into trouble.

Yoga is really, really difficult.

I had no idea it was going to be so painful.  And I am obviously in horrible shape because that pain was after 4 minutes of me FAILING to imitate the stretching in the video.

Imagine how much pain I'd be in if I accomplished the stretches correctly.
(I was sure I was doing something wrong when she told me to breathe in and I couldn't do it. That was the pre-exercise. I hadn't done any stretches prior to that point.)

I also realized I was in terrible shape when my first thought after my 4 minute exercise was to go downstairs and have 3 hotdogs.

Granted, the last thing I'd eaten that day was some cereal for lunch.

So there.  Yoga is tough, I'm not dead.  Happy thanksgiving.
